Kentucky Chamber Foundation's New Kentuckian Hiring Academy
A One-Day Employer Training | Northern Kentucky

The New Kentuckian Hiring Academy is a one-day, employer-focused training designed to equip Kentucky businesses with practical tools and proven strategies to hire, onboard, and retain work-authorized immigrants, refugees, and other documented workers.

In partnership with the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, this academy provides step-by-step guidance on navigating employment authorization, building inclusive workplace practices, and strengthening retention strategies that support long-term workforce success.

Participants will gain:
•Clear guidance on employment eligibility and documentation processes
•Best practices for onboarding and workplace integration
•Strategies to reduce turnover and improve retention
•Access to community partners and talent pipeline resources

Employers will leave with actionable solutions to expand their talent pool while supporting new Kentuckians as they enter and succeed in Kentucky’s workforce. KYSHRM credits pending.
